End 3:
- The king was poisoned by black scorpion born from Malum's dark magic. In the process of killing this creature to save the king, Celeste gets stung. She uses the King's sword to finish it off and as it is born from magic, once dead, it disappears without a trace - leaving doctors clueless as to what poisoned the king.
Tutorial:
- Ordinous wishes his wife, Celeste, a good day at work at the castle as a servant for the royal family. Before she leaves, she sets him chores for the day:
- Drop off presents to the in-laws
- Buy bread for dinner (will need to collect his income first)
- Find a white rose
- Alongside his chores, Ordinous heads out to find Sir Muse to deliver a sword he's made for the knight and collect the payment.
- When Ordinous comes home, after completing his tasks, he finds Celeste collapsed on the floor. When he cannot get a response, he goes out to get help and investigate.
- He talks to Doctor Norman
- He talks to the head maid after her shift
- Doctor Norman does not know how to help. Out of desperation, Ordinous seeks the aid of the Witch Doctor, who is often labelled as crazy as is avoided by the villagers of Peperit. To be seen with him is to be seen as crazy yourself.
The Witch Doctor:
- Once it has reached the morning, Ordinous heads towards the Witch Doctor's house which is also used as a medical practice. Once he arrives, he finds that the Witch Doctor, Morris, is nowhere to be found.
- In an attempt to find him, Ordinous speaks to Morris' neighbours. One says that they don't know where he goes in the day, he's usually back by nightfall. Another says that he can usually be found in the forest just behind their houses searching for Nightshade and that he has been unsuccessful in his search so far.
- Ordinous returns at night and searches for Morris in the forest by following his tracks and listening to the sound of him moving around. Before Morris accepts to help Celeste, Ordinous must help him find a Nightshade.
- After finding a Nightshade for Morris, Ordinous takes him to his wife - where Morris concludes that she has been poisoned by dark magic, and only magic can save her. He expresses that he is not able to help, but has heard stories of a magical healer that went into hiding 13 years ago. Though he is unsure of where Ordinous can find him, he tells him that the Baker's mother was said to have been healed by him when she was a girl and that the journals of a travelling merchant should document his journey to the City of Haven where the Healer is said to reside.
- The baker's mother:
- Ordinous cannot seem to find the head baker when he heads to the bakery in the morning and is advised to come back later.
- When Ordinous returns in the afternoon, he has a hard time convincing the baker to let him talk to his mother but eventually talks him around.
- When he speaks to the baker's mother, she tells him that it was so long ago that all she remembers is following the blue lilies.
- The merchant's journal:
- Heading to Annie's Antiques, Ordinous finds that it is only open 12 pm-4 pm on Monday to Friday; 12 pm-2 pm on Saturday, and is closed on a Sunday.
- Ordinous heads back during opening hours and speaks to Annie herself. She says that she has the journals, but sold the accompanying pictures onto Mr Woodlock two days ago.
- Reading over the journals, Ordinous finds that they're not helpful and sets out to find Mr Woodlock.
- Once he does, he smooth talks Mr Woodlock, appealing to his ego and manages to get one photograph from him which shows a picture of the Hidden Valley.
The City of Haven:
- Starting at the Hidden Valley, Ordinous makes his way through by following the blue lilies.
- Once he's successfully made it to the other side of the Hidden Valley, he must find a way to cross the water to the City of Haven which is on an island close-by.
- There is a small abandoned village and an underground palace that has been taken over by Malum's lackeys.
- Find a way to cross:
- Ordinous is able to build a raft by collecting items on the beach or if he remembers from the journal, the merchant has left a small wooden boat in the cave to the East.
- On his first attempt to cross the waters, Ordinous is attacked by a strange monster that seems to be protecting the island.
- Kill the Fera:
- In the merchant's journal, Ordinous finds instructions on how the Fera was injured previously:
- Find an arrow made from diamond that can be found in the treasures of the underground palace
- Use the crossbow at the top of the fort
- Sedate the Fera:
- Upon exploring the abandoned village, Ordinous finds lots of stories and posters about the Fera and its legend. He finds a book that tells the tale of a time when the villagers and islanders were allies and how they'd sing to the Fera to sedate its fury.
- Ordinous finds an old music shop and is able to learn the tune by listening to a music box and the song by finding the scattered lyrics. He then finds the harp in the Western cove that will extend the sound to the Fera and plays the tune to sedate it.
The Healer:
- Once arriving on the City of Haven, the islanders are immediately hostile towards Ordinous as he is an outsider. Because of this, people do not want to share the location of the Healer.
- Oridinous goes around helping around the island, whilst trying to find the Healer himself. However, the more he talks to people, the more they are drawn in by his story and quest to save his wife. In particular, a hopeless romantic, in awe of Ordinous' quest, takes him to the Healer.
- Upon meeting with him, the Healer is happy to help Ordinous as his quest is noble and true and explains what is wrong with Celeste. He tells Ordinous to fetch him 3 things so that he might make a cure:
- The Helia Cup
- The Sana Lily
- Fera Ink
The Ingredients:
- Helia Cup:
- Ordinous travels to an underwater cave that is a part of the island that is said to protect the cup. Ordinous is able to get it, but not before finding his way through the ever-changing maze.
- Fera ink:
- Ordinous finds the ink extractor tool at an old fisherman store and offers to catch a Bluefish while he's getting the ink in exchange for the use of the tool.
- Sedated - Ordinous travels with some young warriors from the island and extracts the ink with ease and is able to get excess.
- Killed - Ordinous travels with some young warriors from the island and extracts the ink with ease, but is only able to get one dose. He is told by one of the warriors that there is another Fera if he wants more, though it is not necessary.
- He is able to coax the baby Fera out of hiding by remembering the lullaby islanders used to sing to calm the Fera, and by remembering the order of its hiding locations as to sing to the right areas at the right time.
- Sana Lily:
- Ordinous travels to the highest peak of Haven to find the 'Sky Garden'. There he must persuade the gardener to give him a Sana lily after years of work to create the perfect garden. Ordinous finds that if plays his cards right, he might be able to persuade them to give him two.
The Ending:
End 1:
- Ordinous returns home with the cure but is stopped by the King's Knights and is ordered to hand over the cure to save the king or be arrested for treason.
- Ordinous is forced to give the cure to the knights, but when he does, they are attacked by Malum.
- Unfortunately, there wasn't enough force to take him down so Malum escapes with the cure.
- Ordinous returns home just in time for his wife's final moments.
End 2:
- Ordinous returns home with the cure but is stopped by the King's Knights and is ordered to hand over the cure to save the king or be arrested for treason.
- Ordinous is forced to give the cure to the knights, but when he does, they are attacked by Malum.
- They manage to fend off Malum and deliver the cure to the king. However, Malum is able to escape and spreads his dark magic on Peperit.
- Ordinous returns home just in time for his wife's final moments before the village is evacuated.
End 3:
- Ordinous returns home with the cure and is met with the King's Knights explaining that the King has fallen ill and to hand over the cure. Ordinous shows that he has two and hands one to the knights.
- As he does, they are attacked by Malum.
- Ordinous calls on his newfound allies to defeat Malum once and for all.
- Ordinous is able to give the cure to his wife, whilst the knights take the second cure to the king.
