Backstory Overview
Elements of world fiction that set the stage for the game, but does not directly affect the gameplay
- When Malum attacked 80 years ago, it struck fear into the hearts of the people and they started to segregate those with magic - forcing them to leave their homes so they fled to the City of Haven to seek refuge.
- The magic has been drained from the land and nature. Thus, most of the magic and magic-infused plants and creatures can now only be found in the City of Haven.
- Places where Malum's dark magic lingers causes plants to decay and animals to turn feral.
- Malum's magic is slowly taking over the kingdom as it manifests and grows stronger from people's fear.
World Organisation
The world is open to the player allowing them to explore all the nooks and crannies as they please. The world is relatively small and only hosts core locations explored in the levels. Players can move freely between Peperit, Londinensi and the Hidden Valley. However, they can only reach the City of Haven through the Hidden Valley, and from there can either return to Peperit or roam between the Hidden Valley.
Game World Physics
The physics of our game world follow similar physics to that of the real world. The player will not be able to double jump, and will gain damage or even die when falling from a height. The PC will be able to walk, run, jump and engage in basic combat moves.
